Here We Go Again: Conflict - 1 Peter 5:6-14
This week we begin our first series for the New Year, Here We Go Again. We are going to look at common problems people have in relationships and how the Bible teaches us to handle them. To kick it off we are going to take a look at conflict. We are all involved in conflict at some point in our relationships and it is perfectly normal. It is how we respond to or handle this conflict that can have positive or negative effects on our relationships. Before we worship this weekend, I encourage you to seek if there are any unresolved conflicts in your life.
Matthew 5:23-24 says, “Therefore, if you are offering your gift at the altar and there remember that your brother or sister has something against you, leave your gift there in front of the altar. First go and be reconciled to them; then come and offer your gift.”
This takes humility. This takes forgiveness. This takes seeking His Glory over our own. May we then be able to worship Him in spirit and in truth.
