Finding Home: Suffer Well For Reflecting Jesus - 1 Peter 4:1-11

How would you live differently if today was your last day? How would you view your trials differently, invest your time differently, pray differently, love differently, and serve differently? 1 Peter 4 reminds us to live well for Christ because tomorrow is not guaranteed.

As we gather to worship, we will worship God for his greatness. He alone is worthy to be praised. When we call upon the name of Jesus, He is faithful to come to our rescue. He has saved us from sin and death and gives us the strength to endure the struggles of this life on earth. When we surrender in worship to Him, we are set free from our sin and shame. Our perspective on life changes, and we are able to live life fully on mission in his grace and peace. As we worship together, let’s allow Christ to shape our hearts and minds to be more like Him, so we can reflect His gospel for the glory of His name and redemption of those around us.
