January 10 Worship Set

The Whole Story: Land – Joshua

Can you think of a time where you really felt God was leading you somewhere, but you didn’t really follow Him for some reason or another? Maybe he’s led you to a place of complete helplessness and then asks you to take a next step that seems impossible. This week as we look at the book of Joshua, we will observe a group of people that certainly felt that God was stretching them yet their next step was a step of faith.

As we begin our time together, we will rejoice in the truth that we are, as Paul writes, more than conquerors through Him who loves us. So no matter what stands before us, we can trust that the God who is bigger than those things, is fighting for us. This same God is leading us and guiding us through every step we take. “Last Word” by Elevation Worship will be our declaration of this.

We'll continue this attitude and sing of our trust in Him through the song, “The Lord Our God” by Kristian Stanfill,  declaring that we won’t move without out Him, because we believe He is leading us.

We are more than conquerors through Him who LOVES us. It is because of this great love that He has made a way for us through His son Jesus Christ. How great is His love for us. We rejoice in this as we sing, “How He Loves” by the David Crowder Band.

Responding to the message, we will once again declare our trust in Him, because He is faithful. Last week, we talked about looking back at his faithfulness and how this enables us to trust Him for our future. “Forever Faithful” by Matt Stephens will be our proclamation of this. Let us indeed trust Him, for He is faithful and true, unchanging throughout all time.
