Perspectives Class

Perspectives-image.jpg

God has a "world-sized" role for every Christian in His global purpose.Whether people go to distant countries or stay at home is a secondary issue. The primary issue is what most people are hungry to discover: vision to live a life of purpose. Discovering that vision makes this course valuable, and perhaps crucial, for any Christian.

Perspectives is a fifteen week course designed around four vantage points or "perspectives" — Biblical, Historical, Cultural and Strategic. Each one highlights different aspects of God's global purpose.

Mondays from August 26 through December 2, 2019

IF: GATHERING KICKOFF FOR WOMEN

Potluck dinner! Live worship! Inspirational speakers from If: Gathering 2018 and so much more!

IF: Founder, Jennie Allen, will be the featured speaker via video. We will look at one of Paul’s letters to Timothy as he reminded him of the power and responsibility of sharing the gospel. We want to give God away in the very places He’s put us, so we’re going to gather for the purpose of remembering why following God and making disciples matters. We all get tired, we all wonder if what we’re doing matters, so IF:Gathering 2018 will be the reminder—it will be the celebration. The work we’re doing to share the gospel on the earth is worth it and God DOES move through the little things that nobody sees.

Childcare available.

Baptism

Baptism by water immersion symbolizes the death, burial, and resurrection of Jesus. Baptism does not save you, but rather is a public declaration that you have placed your faith in Christ as your Savior. And while baptism is not required for salvation, it is a biblical command and demonstrates your love and obedience to Christ.
