THE CHRISTMAS STORE - Ornaments available November 4, 2018
You can help Calvary make an irreplaceable impact on local families this year by supporting The Christmas Store, which allows parents to shop with dignity and provide a happier Christmas for their children. Local school counselors and Calvary’s Community Care Ministry will provide the names of underprivileged families. Calvary's church family donate Christmas gifts, then on December 8, the parents will be able to shop for gifts for their children at greatly-reduced prices at The Christmas Store at Mid Rivers or West Campuses.
How can you help?
Step 1: Beginning the first week in November, visit The Christmas Store Tree in the lobby at your campus.
You'll find ornaments on the tree, representing three levels of gifts:
• $5 - $15
• $15 - $25
• $25 - $50
Step 2: Choose one or more ornaments.
Step 3: Purchase the gifts.
Step 4: Return them UNWRAPPED to The Christmas Store tree no later than December 2.
Is there more you can do?
Yes! Consider helping in one of these areas:
• Help with the Ornament Tree before and after services at your campus
• Be a Personal Shopper
• Serve as a Room Host at The Christmas Store
• Serve as a Greeter at The Christmas Store
• Help set up and tear down The Christmas Store

Operation Christmas Child Shoeboxes - Deadline is noon November 18, 2018
THE AMAZING JOURNEY OF A SIMPLE SHOEBOX GIFT BEGINS WITH YOU
PACKING, COLLECTING & SHIPPING
People pack shoebox gifts each year to bless children in need around the world. Churches and groups collect these boxes the third week of November. Then, thousands of volunteers inspect and prepare the shoeboxes for international shipping.
Long before shoeboxes arrive in more than 100 countries, volunteer National Leadership Teams train pastors and community leaders who want to share the Gospel and bless children.
Churches around the world hand out shoebox gifts at festive outreach events where the Good News is clearly presented. Along with the gifts, we oer Gospel booklets called The Greatest Gift to help shoebox recipients learn about God’s Greatest Gift, His Son, Jesus Christ.
DISCIPLESHIP & MULTIPLICATION
After receiving a shoebox gift, children have the opportunity to enroll in our 12-lesson follow-up discipleship program, The Greatest Journey. As a result of what they learn, boys and girls grow in Christ and share Him with others. Families are reached, churches grow, new churches are started, and communities are transformed.
