"In the hands of local churches, every gift-filled shoebox is a powerful tool for evangelism and discipleship—transforming the lives of children and their families around the world through the Good News of Jesus Christ!"

Beginning October 22, you'll be able to pick up an empty shoebox from The Big Desk at your campus. You'll also be given a list of suggested items with which to fill your shoebox. Return the filled shoebox, along with $7 for shipping, to The Big Desk no later than November 19. CLICK HERE to watch a video on how to pack a shoebox.

THE CHRISTMAS STORE - Saturday, December 9

You can help Calvary make an irreplaceable impact on local families this year by supporting The Christmas Store, which allows parents to shop with dignity and provide a happier Christmas for their children..

Local school counselors will provide the names of underprivileged families. Calvary's church family donate Christmas gifts, then on December 10, the parents will be able to shop for gifts for their children at greatly-reduced prices at The Christmas Store at Mid Rivers or West Campuses.

How can you help?
Step 1: Beginning the first week in November, visit The Christmas Store Tree in the lobby at your campus.
You'll find ornaments on the tree, representing three levels of gifts:
    • $5 - $15
    • $15 - $25
    • $25 - $50
Step 2: Choose one or more ornaments.
Step 3: Purchase the gifts.
Step 4: Return them UNWRAPPED to The Christmas Store tree no later than December 3.

Is there more you can do?
Yes! Consider helping in one of these areas:

    • Help with the Ornament Tree before and after services at your campus
    • Be a Personal Shopper
    • Serve as a Room Host at The Christmas Store
    • Serve as a Greeter at The Christmas Store
    • Help set up and tear down The Christmas Store

Sponsoring A Child Changes a Life

Calvary Church partners with ministries in Malawi and Honduras to provide children in need with education, nutritious meals, basic medical care, and the love of Christ. By sponsoring a child, your contributions go to meet their basic needs. You enable them to have a future and a hope.

In Malawi, Vision Trust has a feeding and learning center in the villages of Katsekara, which is an extremely poor area of the country. They provide vitamins, meals, and an education for children ages 3-10. There are approximately 100 children in the program.  CLICK HERE To learn more and to sponsor a child from Malawi.

In Honduras, Project Manuelito is a ministry to children who have lived in and on the streets of Honduras.  It focuses on housing and caring for both girls and boys who have been abandoned by their parents and have been exposed to abuse, illness, drugs, and violence.  CLICK HERE to learn more and to sponsor a child in Honduras.
