Grief from profound loss can be paralyzing and isolating. We understand are committed to helping you begin to heal and rebuild your life through the transforming love of Christ.
Mondays, February 4 - April 24
6:30 - 8:30 pm
Mid Rivers Campus - Rooms 130/131
After the funeral, when the cards and flowers have stopped coming, most of the people around you return to their normal lives. But your grief continues and you feel alone. Often, friends and family want to help you, but don't know how. That’s the reason for GriefShare. You'll find it to be a warm, caring environment and will come to see your group as an "oasis" on your long journey though grief.
Next Chapter: a ministry for widows
Sometimes women find themselves in a place where suddenly things have changed and nothing is as it once was. They are single, not by choice, but because they have lost their husbands through death. Next Chapter is a place for widows to connect with other women who understand what they're going through. It is a place to cry, to vent, to share concerns, and even to laugh with other women who truly understand. Next Chapter is not intended to replace professional counseling, but rather is a safe harbor of love and prayer. Currently, we are meeting the second Sunday of each month, 12:30 pm in Room 111, at the Mid Rivers Campus.
